Claim your username

We’ve reserved all usernames from anyone who has ever submitted an approved addon to the old Stremio-Community/stremio-addons-list  repository.

Requirements

• Stremio account
• GitHub account

Procedure

To claim your username, follow these steps:

1. Go to My account > Profile settings
2. Click the Can't claim your username? link
3. Click Continue with GitHub and authorize the app

Make sure you sign in with the correct GitHub account.

Side effects

The following contributions and interactions with the old GitHub repository will be synchronized to your current account:

• Addons you submitted will show up as ‘submitted addons’ on your timeline and ‘submitted by’ will also point to you on each addon page respectively.
  • This can not be undone.
• Positive reactions (heart, thumbs up, rocket) you gave to addon issues will be imported as stars.
  • This can be undone any time by simply unstarring the addon.
