Nuvio Streams Addon Documentation
Introduction
Nuvio Streams functions as a scraper, searching publicly available sources for content. As such, the availability and longevity of specific streams or sources cannot be guaranteed. However, I am committed to actively maintaining and updating the addon to provide the best possible experience.
This addon is a personal project intended for educational purposes.
How to Install Nuvio Streams
You can install Nuvio Streams through a couple of methods:

Direct Installation via Addon Page:
- Open your web browser and go to: https://nuvioaddon.vercel.app
- Click the prominent "Install Addon" button. This will open Stremio and prompt you to install the addon.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in Stremio to complete the installation.

- Visit the Stremio Community Addons page: https://beta.stremio-addons.net/addons/nuvio-streams
- Click the "Install" button for Nuvio Streams.
- Follow the on-screen instructions in Stremio.
Alternatively, you can copy the manifest link from our addon page (https://nuvioaddon.vercel.app) by clicking the "Copy Manifest" button and paste it directly into the Stremio search bar under "Addons".
Features (v0.2.0 and beyond)
- Personal Cookie Configuration: Configure your own cookie for one of the main providers to get dedicated bandwidth and no size restrictions. This is Extremely Recommended for the best experience.
- Multiple Streaming Sources: Access content from four different online providers.
- Stream Size Management: Non-personalized users will encounter a file size cap (under 9GB) on certain providers to manage shared bandwidth.
- Quality Prioritization & Detailed Information:
- Streams are automatically sorted to show the highest quality options first (e.g., 4K > 1080p > 720p).
- Clear labeling of stream sources.
- Quality (e.g., 1080p, 720p).
- File size (if available).
- Video/Audio codecs and technologies (e.g., DV, HDR, Atmos, H.265) displayed in the stream title.
- Performance Optimizations: Backend improvements for faster fetching and better reliability.
Personalized Configuration (Highly Recommended)
A key feature is the ability to use your own cookie for one of the main providers:
- Why personalize? Without personalization, you share limited bandwidth with other addon users and are restricted to smaller file sizes (under 9GB) from certain providers.
- Benefits of personalization: Your own dedicated 100GB monthly quota (subject to provider's terms), potentially faster speeds, and no file size restrictions from that provider.
- How to set it up: Visit the addon's configuration page (accessible via the "Configure" button next to the addon in Stremio, or via the installation links) and follow the step-by-step instructions to get and set your own cookie.
Future Notice: Due to extremely limited resources, I plan to eventually transition this addon to only support personalized cookies. If the addon and providers are still operational in the coming months, non-personalized access will likely be phased out. I strongly encourage setting up your personal cookie now to ensure continued access.
Coming Soon: Additional configuration options such as selecting which providers to use and customizing quality sorting will be implemented in future updates based on user feedback and requests.
Important Notes & Disclaimer
- Content Aggregation: Nuvio Streams is a scraper-based addon that aggregates content from various publicly available third-party providers. I do not own, host, or directly provide any of the streamed content.
- Provider Availability & Longevity: The availability of streams and sources can change without prior notice. While I make every effort to maintain the addon, uninterrupted access or the continued availability of any particular source cannot be guaranteed. Providers can change or disappear at any time without warning.
- Experimental Nature: This is a work in progress with no guarantee on how long it will last.
- Indie Development: As a solo developer, I'll try to fix or replace broken providers when I can, but functionality can still break unexpectedly.
- No P2P/Torrents: This addon only scrapes direct HTTP streams from websites. It does not use P2P or torrents.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What's the difference between personalized and non-personalized usage? A: Non-personalized users share limited bandwidth and can only access streams under 9GB from certain providers. Personalized users get their own 100GB monthly quota (from the specific provider) and access to all quality levels from that provider.
Q: Does this addon use torrents or P2P technology? A: No. This addon only scrapes direct HTTP streams from websites. It does not use P2P or torrents.
Q: Why do some streams not work? A: Providers can change their websites or go offline at any time. When this happens, streams will stop working until I update the addon.
Q: Can I contact you if I have issues with my personalized setup? A: Yes! Please refer to the support information on the addon's installation page or the Stremio community for ways to get in touch.
Q: How often is the addon updated? A: As an indie developer with limited time, I update when I can. If a provider breaks, I'll try to fix it or find a replacement.
Q: Will more providers be added? A: I'm always looking for reliable providers to add. The latest version includes two new ones, bringing the total to four.
